British Pound
The official full name worthy (plural: quid genuine) is used principally in smart milieu and also when it is necessary to separate the notes used within the United Kingdom from that have the same name. The cash name — but not the surname of its — is from time to time reduced to just “matchless”, predominantly in the wholesale fiscal arcade; so “expense accepted in exceptional”, but in no way “that costs five excellent”.
The reduction “ster.” or “stg.” are occasionally used. The term British pound is commonly used in less formal framework, although it is not an official name of the legal tender. A common slang term is quid (plural quid).
